This ‘Pimm’s and Paint’ class will be just the ticket to get you exploring your creative side, gaining confidence and experiencing the joy of expressing yourself through art! Why not have 2.5 hrs to learn the fundamentals and techniques to create a watercolour or canvas to a set theme in a fun, friendly, and social environment! You will learn about the drawing process, composition, colour mixing, and painting techniques whilst painting your canvas. This is a wonderful workshop for beginners or professionals!

    Terms : We have class minimums to meet, if we do not make them and need to cancel a class we will do so 24 hrs prior and offer you a full refund or a credit to attend a class at the same value within a 12 month period.     A special 5 Week Intensive Course that will cover a variety of different aspects of the fundamentals of Drawing & Watercolour Painting.
    Designed for complete beginners and experienced artists who wish to unwrap a world of possibilities and are ready for a new creative outlet. The 5 key areas that we will journey through on this course are:

    1) Drawing Basics - Learn about the fundamentals of drawing and how to create beautiful marks on paper. 2) Strokes & Shading Technique - Explore various techniques to see how they can give subjects shapes & forms. 3) Composition - Discover tips and tricks for creating dynamic, balanced and beautiful artworks. 3) Colour Theory - Understand the basics of colour theory, how to mix colours and create harmonious palettes. 5) Creative Expression - Experiment with different subject matters and styles to express your own creative voice.

    By the end of this course you will have developed key skills in drawing and watercolour painting, built up a portfolio of work showcasing your progress, experienced greater confidence when painting or drawing, had some fun along the way AND most importantly found new ways to express yourself creatively!

You'll create an artful fabric design using painting and screen-printing techniques. This is perfect for beginners and requires no previous experience. You’ll be coached through the process and encouraged to release your fears and get your creative juices flowing in an inspiring, well-structured and super fun workshop. First, you will explore different brushwork and painting styles to create the background design, learning about positive and negative space. Then you’ll get to experiment with printing techniques using a silkscreen and squeegee, learn about pressure, flooding and technique. You will use Kim’s personal designs to screen-print and be using eco-friendly non-toxic paints to create beautiful and dynamic designs.
